Our Ethos
Skyward Care provides a person-centred activity-based approach where a young person’s background, care needs and individual circumstances is met with care and compassion. This allows us to develop packages of care and support that is fit for purpose with the views of our young people being central to its implementation.

The organisation was established to provide a steppingstone for looked after children and care leavers, offering individually tailored support and care on their journey toward adulthood. We believe that young people have a better chance of success when they have the skills and resources to navigate their next steps towards independence.
Our Promise
Skyward Care seeks to develop partnerships with local authorities where an open and transparent operating model guided by quality care standards and the founding principles of the company is delivered. These can be summarised as follows:

Young people will be placed in risk assessed homes with safety in our properties and wider communities being a determining factor when placed in our care. ​

Skyward Care will champion the voices, aspirations and life goals of our young people and will work to ensure that these are advocated for. Through dedicated keywork sessions Skyward Care will ensure that each young person understands the scope or their support package and the wider benefits and support that is available to them.

Skyward Care will recruit and retain a highly skilled staff base who are passionate, driven and possess unique transferable skills which can be an asset in the social care sector. Skyward Care will ensure that staff are kept abreast with essential training, quality care standards and Ofsted regulations which will be monitored and reviewed as part of an ongoing CPD package of support to ensure the highest quality care is provided to our young people.

Skyward Care will maintain and provide high quality, fully furnished homes equipped with essential amenities and recreational spaces and equipment to ensure a comfortable living standard that will support the transition to independent living.
